Hidur Design is very passionate about creating and publishing a collection of exclusive books and publications. Despite the age of Internet and ebooks, we firmly believe that nothing can replace the sensual experience of holding a real book in one's hands and the touch, smell and feel of paper. Creating special editions of art books is a passion we always want to keep pursuing in our work.

Rebbe Nachman said to his followers: »How do you pray to God? Can a person worship the great, almighty God with words? Come here, I will show you a new way to God: Not with words, but with song! We should sing and God will understand us.«

Although Zmiros serve much the same spiritual function as their literary brothers, the Psalms,in that they’re all meant to lift Jewish spirit by proclaiming HaShem’s greatness, they vary in important ways. In the Psalms the text is crucial, but Zmiros have melody as their main purpose. One sings them to express appreciation in the nature of an expansive Shabbos and Holiday rest.
