series without
a name

This limited edition of four abstract artworks (mixed media on paper) is part of the ten work cycle "Series without a Name."

The prints have a size of 60x40cm/23,6x15,7“ (with a 2cm/0.8“ white border for framing). Three of the works will also be manually reworked with color pencil by the artist, turning them into unique individual prints.

Each work exists as a run of 18 prints at this size only ever and is printed on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gm2, using 11 archival inks for the highest and lasting quality. The unique heavyweight paper has a slightly warm base tone with a mottled texture that can hold more ink and capture the light. The results are artworks with deep blacks, rich colors, and contrasts that come as close to the handmade originals as possible.

Each print is numbered and signed by the artist, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

 Why 18, you may ask?
In the Jewish tradition, the numeric equivalent of the word "Chai" (Hebrew for life) is 18. In times of a worldwide pandemic, we would like to transcend the importance of life itself this way, which can't be stressed enough. And art is always an essential tool in keeping our humanity alive.
